Description

Young Ruth and Theodore get into a heated argument, resulting in them being separated for nearly a decade. :eager:

Just me playing around with scene composition and some layer effects. :D Trying to work the emotional cues here. :giggle:

Thanks for looking!

Oh for the love of.. I clicked on the wrong button now I have to add a critique In terms of mood I think you did a good job. The sunset (or sunrise? 0-o) in the windows sort of signifies the day - Metaphor - relationship coming to an end. The setting you've got shows that he's some sort of manual labourer (judging from the apron/overalls? and the garden tools in the background and she seems to be a more upper class citizen showing that they are both worlds apart. You did a nice job with the lighting in the second panel I must say, and the soft tones colours work wonders for the overall picture
The only problem I can really see with it is the consistency with the subjects. In the first panel the dude looks younger than he does in bottom panel and his sleeves are up in the first panel but all of a skielik down in the second panel. And the apron dissapears! Unless the strap is underneath his collar?

That's about all I can say on this, went way over 100 words though, that's a bonus
