I'm pretty psyched, you guys. 
The first Valiard book is two chapters away from wrapping up, which can mean only one thing: SEXY. HOBO. BEARD. Joshua Valiard a.k.a Lord Redmere will be a fully-fledged character in the second book, and I'll finally have good reason to draw him LOTS AND LOTS. 
Anyways, on to the pics.
Left is Ruth and Gangfield parting ways on the outer steps of The Valiard Mansion. Will they ever see each other again?
Right is a doodle of Ruth and Lord Redmere that I liked enough to colour. I tried to get Ruth looking statue-like, dead-like, compared to her usual outbursts. And Lord Redmere will have glowy eyes that help him see in the dark. Imagine dem peepers hovering at the end of a pitch-black corridor! BOO!

So I just discovered you as an artist and let me say, your work is absolutely amazing. However, since I just found you I'm still a bit confused on the chars. Some sketches I've seen have this Joshua character as a good guy but you say he's a villain in one of your other sketches of him. Lol I'm super confused, also I know in a few sketches you mention he's married to some chick, but is it weird that by just looking at these I ship him and the protagonist Ruth together?
