1740s Pirate Gangfield - October 2014

Just a ton of silly fun, really.

_{After Gangfield emerges from his 100-year prison and regains his sight, he joins forces with the infamous pirate, Captain Spartacus to find a fabled spell book containing the key to eternal youth. Of course, Gangfield's already dipped into that, so at least he knows the spell book is real.}

The fashion of the 1740s is so flamboyant and voluptuous! And since Gangfield grew up in the early 1600s, he thinks wearing a big, white wig is totally ridiculous—a lot like we think today, actually! I'm gonna need a lot more research to be able to stay true to both the time period and the character himself.

So even though I won't call Gangfield's latest wardrobe change a complete success (he can definitely look a teensy bit more masculine), I'm at least a few steps closer to finding the perfect pirate outfit for this old sea dog! Watch this space!
