Ruth CG Turnaround - WIP - January 2016

After seeing a character I designed animated in CG, a certain bug bit me. I was excited, exhilarated, just plain over the moon. It made me want to learn more about the craft.

So I thought, why don't I grab a trial version of ZBrush and use Ruth Rosewood as a guinea pig? And since I'm geared to work on more CG projects in the future, I'll know a lot better how to set up the T-Poses for the modelers, and to design characters that will be more appealing in a 3D space. (Well, that's what I hope, anyways. )

Another plus is I found out that, with a bit of wrangling, Ruth's crazy hair actually does make perfect sense! Who'da thunkin'!

Still not sure I'd actually shell out the cash to purchase ZBrush, but I've had a great time with it while it lasted. It's a ridiculous learning curve to get to know it, though. I'm lucky to be alive! I had actually learned to use it back in 2013 with an older version, and even then decided I was quickly ZBrushed out, but ah. Then the bug bit me.

Final verdict, though: I'mma stick to 2D for now, thanks.
